The Red Scare is something new I learned today. The Red Scare is something the U.S. had twice once in 1919-1920 and again 1947-1957. "Red Scare" is used to describe periods of extreme Anti Communism in the United States. The U.S. government was heavily involved in the red scare. The FBI led by J. Edgar Hoover also was heavily involved. They used wired-taps and spied on communists giving info to McCarthy and other anti-communists leaders.

Today is now the due date. I feel very pleased to say that. I realized this project is only as hard as you want it to be. Doing it twice helps a lot. You understand the schedule and how to do things. This project is non linear and I’ve accepted that and accepted that I have to come at a non linear approach which is fine. Just different but different is good. Well 99 percent of the time. I simply can’t see how other students can’t accomplish this. It baffles me but doesn’t surprise me. It never does. Overall this project was easier than the last I can say that with ease.
Genocide is the deliberate of killing a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation. The genocide of WWII was titled The Holocaust. The word holocaust comes from the Greek word holos meaning whole and kaustos meaning burned. The holocaust happened between the years 1941 through 1945. Approximately around 6 millions Jews were murdered. Most of the extermination occurred in the gas chambers located at the concentration camps. The most infamous camp was Auschwitz. Entry 2: The most important thing I learned about WWI in my research was the trench periscope. It amused me that something so strange could possibly work it out the way it did. The second would have to be prosthetic limb. 20 million deaths is vast number. Imagine how many survived. Imagine the wounds these soldiers had to succumb to. Imagine how important the prosthetic limb was at the time. My third and final artifact is just simply the trench coat. A coat that was made from the materials made for war, so simple but so important.
Over the course of 2 weeks learning WW2 there wasn't many things to learn. This is due to the fact that I've learned many things already. In Middle School 7th and 8th grade to be frank. I've seen countless movies, played video games set in WW2, read books and even seen it in color. This has been more of a review than anything. Don't get me wrong it been nice. On the other had its been a reminder how terrible and brutal this war is, and of course this time going into depths i could only fathom in middle school.
Entry 1: Research is the easiest learning process for me. I would say this because I personally like doing research. I enjoy going to various websites, books, television, and other forms of media for research. I like to go in depth. I like to know what I am learning before I know.
I would have to say Questions is the hardest learning process. It's hard to question a topic you only know so much about. I feel like I do overthink the questions which is another reason it is the hardest. |
